About Us

Hi, I'm Majarc Anderson, co-founder of TipTask. I have ADHD, and I've been in the games and IT industry for over 20 years as a founder, artist, UX designer, and project manager 🎩TipTask is a task management app tailored specifically for ADHD, born out of my own frustration with existing apps that depended on proper executive functioning, or demanded excessive micromanagement, or too intrusive, or easily forgotten. While these apps suited others, they definitely didn’t work for me.Over the years, I developed a unique system using the combined powers of Trello automations, Zapier (an automations service), and Google Calendar. Finally something was working! I want to improve this solution further—so I started TipTask.Since my ADHD diagnosis a few years back, I've gained a wealth of knowledge about the condition. TipTask Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which TipTask collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from users (referred to as "you" or "users") of the TipTask web browser app, Android app, and iOS app (referred to as the "App"). This Privacy Policy applies to the App and all products and services offered by TipTask.1. Information Collection1.1 Personal Information: We use your Google account information to create a TipTask account. Specifically your email address, which serves as your TipTask account identifier.1.2 For Authentication and Log In: We utilize an integration with Google via Auth0 to enable users to log in using their Google account.1.3 App Usage Information: We collect usage information, including your task data, to provide the App's functionalities and improve user experience. Your tasks are stored in our database associated with your Google Account.1.4 App Usage Analysis: We transmit anonymous user data to third-party platforms for the purpose of analyzing usage patterns and enhancing our services. This data is devoid of personally identifiable information to ensure user privacy.1.5 Contacting Us: When you reach out to us, we might collect your name, email, or other details you share. We use this to answer your questions, improve our services, and manage our business. Please be aware that, while not required, TipTask might monitor and save our interactions for safety reasons, legal compliance, or to protect our interests.2. Information Usage2.1 Google Account Usage: The email associated with the Google Account shall serve as the unique identifier for your TipTask account. Said email address will be used for the express purposes of account administration and providing support services.2.2 Google Calendar Integration: TipTask requires your permission to read and write events to your Google Calendar. This integration enables us to sync tasks with available times in your registered Google Calendar account, and to use your preferred timezone associated with your primary calendar.2.3 Information Sharing: We do not share your personal information with third parties, except in the form of anonymous user data for the tracking and analysis of general user activity.2.4 The App’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.2.5 We retrieve and display the profile image associated with your Google account on the App's interface. This image is not stored by us; instead, it is directly retrieved from Google's servers.3. Information Storage and Security3.1 Data Protection Measures: We are using a well known third party service, Auth0, for Authentication and Authorization to handle the OAuth flow and Google API access. We are also using the official cloud provider of MongoDB for our Database (with limited and secured access to it).3.2 Data Encoding: We use data encryption in-transit (TLS/SSL) and at-rest (AES-256).4. Compliance with Data Protection Laws4.1 General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): We comply with the principles and requirements set forth in the GDPR concerning the collection, use, retention, and protection of personal data. The text of the regulation can be viewed here.4.2 California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA): We also adhere to the rights and obligations outlined in the CCPA, providing California residents with control over their personal information.5. User Rights5.1 Access, Rectification, and Deletion: You have the right to request access to, rectification of, or deletion of your personal information held by TipTask. To exercise these rights, please contact us using the contact information provided in this Privacy Policy. Specifically for deletion of your account, please access the Account Deletion Request Page.6. Data Breach Notification6.1 In the event of a data breach that compromises your personal information, we will notify you via email within two business days after becoming aware of the breach.7. Children's Privacy7.1 TipTask is intended for use by individuals who can create a Google account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.8. Changes to the Privacy Policy8.1 Notification of Changes: We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any substantial changes to the policy will be notified to users via email.9. TipTask Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the TipTask web browser, iOS app, and Android app (collectively referred to as the "App") provided by TipTask ("we" or "us"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from using the App.1. App Description1.1 TipTask is a task management tool that allows users to create, manage, and organize tasks across various platforms, including web, iOS, and Android. The App automatically syncs tasks with Google Calendar, rescheduling unfinished tasks until completed.2. User Restrictions2.1 While using the App, you agree to abide by the following restrictions:(a) You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.(b) You must not engage in any illegal, unauthorized, or prohibited activities while using the App.(c) You must not interfere with or disrupt the functionality of the App or its associated servers.(d) You must not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its users' data.(e) You must not engage in any activity that could harm the App's reputation or integrity.3. Access and Usage3.1 Users may access and use the App via web browsers, the iOS app, or the Android app. You are responsible for ensuring that you have compatible devices and a stable internet connection to access and use the App.4. Subscriptions and Beta Availability4.1 While the App may offer subscription services in the future, please note that during the beta phase, subscription services may not be available. We reserve the right to modify or introduce subscription services, including pricing, billing cycles, and cancellation policies, at our discretion.5. Limitations of Liability and Disclaimers5.1 We strive to provide accurate and reliable services. However, we do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted. We are not liable for any errors, bugs, or downtime experienced while using the App, nor for any issues arising from Google Calendar integration or server-related problems.6. Intellectual Property6.1 TipTask and its associated logos, trademarks, and content are the property of TipTask. All intellectual property rights are reserved.7. Prohibited Activities7.1 Users are prohibited from engaging in any activity that:(a) Violates any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights.(b) Contains or promotes harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content.(c) Attempts to gain unauthorized access to the App or its users' data.(d) Harasses, threatens, or interferes with other users or TipTask staff.(e) Infringes upon the intellectual property rights of TipTask or any third party.8. Data Collection and Privacy8.1 We collect and store certain user information as outlined in our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the collection, use, and storage of your information as described therein.9. User Feedback and Support9.1 We welcome user feedback, inquiries, and complaints. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for any changes.10.7 In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between these Terms and any additional terms or policies incorporated by reference, these Terms shall prevail.10.8 These Terms are binding upon you, your successors, representatives, and permitted assigns.

Google API Limited Use Disclosure

The app’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Delete Account

To delete your account, please send an email requesting account deletion to contact@leeen.app from your account's Gmail Account (so we know it's you!). We'll delete all your data on TipTask within 14 business days. Note that all events already on your Google Calendar will remain in your calendar, and you can delete them manually. Anytime you want to come back, please sign up again at https://tiptask.app.
